About LeadX

LeadX is South Africa’s leading producer of secondary lead (Pb) and lead products.

LeadX is wholly owned by AutoX, a local manufacturer engaged in the production of lead acid batteries.

Operations

Operations consist of a secondary lead (Pb) smelter recycling scrap lead, spent automotive batteries and other lead-bearing waste materials into soft lead and bespoke lead alloy ingot for supply into the Automotive battery, Cable and mining supply industries as well as other industrial consumers of lead alloys.
